PREFACE

 

Having the education compatible with the European Union and/or the USA is an obligation which is impossible to give up for our universities in the process in which the studies about the admission to the European Union constitute the main agenda of our country ; .

Uludağ University together with the educational reform which it started moving from this point is determined to carry the quality of the education above the contemporary standards completing the accreditation efforts in the next years.

I believe all the academic and administrative staff of Uludağ University will take part in the Educational Reform and the Accreditation efforts which mean taking the future of our country under guarantee voluntarily and spend a lot of intensive effort with the consciousness of the fact that the realization of the Educational Reform is simply due to our commitment to our Republic and Nation.

I thank those who have taken part in and those who will take part in Educational Reform and Accreditation efforts, and I wish success to all our academic and administrative staff in the difficult and uneven accreditation process.

The Accreditation Handbook attached includes sufficient information and application prescriptions about the accreditation. The Accreditation Committee aimed to provide all the departments and the fields of study with an itinerary by   preparing this handbook in a short period of time spending an intensive effort.

I think the efforts which will be started with the availability of this book for the academic staff and the racing atmosphere which is expected to occur will contribute to the progress towards the target quickly. I thank first the University Accreditation Coordinator and all the Accreditation Committee members who prepared the book.

I present my best regards hoping that your success will continue and the quality of our education will increase with each passing day.
